An app people actually keep - built for the job, not the demo.
More than a screen on a phone
A good app is the visible tip of a real system — the data, the logic, and the integrations behind it are where the work lives. We build native-quality iOS and Android apps that ship to the stores, hold up under real use, and are supported after launch. If you want a team close by, see our mobile app development in Adelaide.
How we build a mobile app
-

A rapid insight or scoping workshop turns a rough concept into a costed, prioritised v1 — so the first build is the right build, not the whole wish list.
-

Regular builds you can install and use on a real device, not a black box that reappears months later. You steer the app as it takes shape.
-

We handle App Store and Google Play submission, back the launch with a warranty, and stay on for maintenance. The codebase and IP are yours.
How we deliver mobile app work
Mobile App Development
A custom mobile app for iOS and Android usually starts with a $25K to $50K Ignite prototype over four to eight weeks, then a fixed-price Amplify build from around $100K. Most builds take two to 12 months and include a 12-month warranty, and the app is yours.
Rapid Insight Workshop
A Rapid Insight Workshop is two sessions with your key people that map how work really gets done and where time and money are lost. It costs a fixed $9,000 + GST, and about three weeks later you get a prioritised roadmap, a business case and a product specification you keep either way.
Mobile app questions we get asked
Most app builds start around $100,000 as a fixed-price Amplify project, and a multi-feature product across iOS and Android with a backend and integrations costs more than a focused MVP. To test an idea first, an Ignite prototype costs $25,000 to $50,000. The exact figure comes from a $9,000 + GST Rapid Insight Workshop, which defines v1 before any build begins.
It depends on what the app has to do. Cross-platform frameworks like React Native and Flutter let you ship both platforms from one codebase and are the right call for most business apps. Fully native makes sense when you are pushing hardware, performance, or platform-specific features hard. We choose per project, not per fashion.
Typically 2 to 12 months as an Amplify build, with a focused MVP at the short end. A working prototype through Ignite takes 4 to 8 weeks. We work in sprints with builds you can install as we go, so you see progress continuously rather than waiting for one reveal at the end.
An app is never finished at launch — the stores change, the OS updates, and users ask for more. We support the app after it ships: maintenance, monitoring, and new features. You own the code, so you are never trapped, but most clients stay on because the partnership keeps paying off.
Hire if the app is your core product and you will build it for years. A senior developer in Adelaide costs roughly $180,000 a year once super, leave and overheads are added to a median salary of about $130,000, and hiring can take months. An app also needs design, architecture and backend work, which one hire rarely covers. An outside team brings all of those from day one.
