The team at Deliver It were seeking reliability and control. For too long they had been paying for subscription based mapping software that provided unnecessary features, lacked data control and caused costly delays.
Thanks to the Ignite™ framework, CodeFish was able to deliver in a matter of weeks, letting Deliver It prioritise the features that mattered to their business and lift route productivity.
Despite paying monthly fees for software subscriptions, Deliver It would face a multitude of problems with little-to-no support.
Pre-existing software was over-stuffed with features that weren’t relevant to the business, while key features didn’t provide enough route control. In addition, third-party software wasn’t being updated regularly by developers, causing ‘glitches’ that would render the software inoperable in remote locations.
So when designing their own program the deliverables were clear:
- Reliability: The program had to be accessible, reliable and work remotely.
- Mapping optimisation: Correctly interpreting customer manifest data, allowing Deliver It to group deliveries by location and/or route preferences.
- Future thinking: Solve initial problems first with room to grow and expand the program in later years.
- Cost effective: Keep client investment low, using the Ignite™’ framework.
CodeFish’s Ignite™ Service Stream provided a clear approach, allowing the project to move quickly.
Starting with an in-person Rapid Insight Workshop, Deliver It was able to clearly explain the typical job lifecycle and show where pre-existing software was falling short. This allowed CodeFish to start designing the new software’s logic flow immediately.
From there, the Logic Flow and User Experience Design were finalised with strong input from Deliver It’s team. Ensuring the system was intuitive and responded correctly to user & data input.
Within a matter of weeks the program was in development with the initial handover occurring soon after.

Deliver It’s custom web application was completed in August 2025. Taking only 2.5 weeks from enquiry to completion.
By stripping back unnecessary features found in competing software, CodeFish were able to focus on reliability, ease of use and mapping optimisation. Speeding up the route design process and getting drivers on the road without delay.
Functionality was built with future needs in mind. Creating a solid technology foundation for Deliver It to develop and grow as required. Immediate deliverables were actioned as a priority, keeping costs low. But CodeFish were proactive in thinking of future advancements that would benefit the business.
Web applications are incredibly accessible, removing the need to download desktop software or perform regular manual updates. Instead Deliver It needs only the URL and internet access to get the job done.
Thanks to the collaborative nature of the project, once completed, The Deliver It team were able to use their new software immediately. With only minor tweaks required.
The best part? Deliver It now owns their software outright.
Meaning no more monthly subscription fees, or outdated products. Instead, the business can reinvest in their own software when needed, adding new features and functionalities with CodeFish as Deliver It grows.
